1. Your Rights Under California Law
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), grants you the following rights:
- Right to Know: You may request that we disclose what personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the business or commercial purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

2. Personal Information We Collect
In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information from visitors to this site:
- Identifiers: Name and email address, collected only when you voluntarily submit our contact form.
- Internet or other electronic network activity: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs, collected automatically by our server logs for security and performance purposes.
We do not collect geolocation data, biometric information, financial information, or any sensitive personal information as defined under the CPRA.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use contact form submissions solely to respond to your inquiry. We use server log data for security monitoring and site performance. We do not use any personal information for targeted advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.
4. Do We Sell or Share Your Information?
No. The Rancho Santa Fe Tribune does not sell personal information to third parties, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. In the preceding 12 months, we have not sold or shared personal information.

To exercise your rights under the CCPA/CPRA, please contact us by email at [email protected] with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 calendar days. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. Authorized agents must provide written authorization signed by you.
6. Non-Discrimination
We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, provide you a different level of quality, or suggest you may receive a different price or quality of goods or services as a result of exercising your privacy rights.
7. Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect, process, or disclose sensitive personal information as defined under the California Privacy Rights Act, including social security numbers, financial account data, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health data, or biometric data.
